HardDisk Noise is a warning signal

Has your computer hard drive has started making some sounds lately, it could actually mean that soon hard drive would be going to fail.

Often failing hard drives show a warning sign of its imminent demise. If you're lucky enough to intercept one of these signs, then try to backup your harddrive to a DVD or to other harddisk soon.

Hitachi the harddisk gaint has released wav sound files that may lead to failing of an hard drive. It is intended to help and diagnose if the sounds of the hard drive that are making are indicative of near failing drive.

If a hard disk noise produce any of the following noises, it could mean that the Hard Disk Head is damaged and can fail anytime:
