The new Quad SLI technology features four of NVIDIA's GeForce 7800 GTX GPUs with an NVIDIA nForce4 SLI X16 motherboard.

The Dell Inspiron XPS 600 Renegade system will be the first system to ship with the NVIDIA Quad-SLI setup. Fancy demos for graphics enthusiasts you might think, but the concept was live and working. Dell's Dimension XPS 600 Renegade system is based on Intel's Pentium Extreme Edition 955 and the nForce4 SLI X16 Intel Edition chipset. The upgraded system will run at 4.26GHz maximum, according to Dell.

The technology could also be used for high end graphics, CAD, and engineering applications.
