GnomeLink connets land phones and VoIP

Posted by Harsha

Tel-Evolution(creators of PhoneGnome) has released GnomeLink, It is an extension to its PhoneGnome phone device that allows calling between Skype and PhoneGnome. PhoneGnome had previously allowed calls between landphone(PSTN) and VoIP, but now it is possible to have interoperability between Skype, landphone and PhoneGnome using one interface.

The advance of GnomeLink and PhoneGnome is that Skype numbers can also be called using this service. As a result, PhoneGnome with GnomeLink allows users to make and receive from landline, SIP, PhoneGnome, and Skype calls.

"GnomeLink is another step towards allowing people to make calls any way that they choose to," said David Beckemeyer, developer of PhoneGnome and GnomeLink. "Our goal with the PhoneGnome product family has always been to bring all telephony worlds together -- PhoneGnome calls, ordinary PSTN calls and SIP calls, all on your regular home phone. With GnomeLink we've added the Skype community into the mix."
