Microsoft acquires DeepMetrix Web Analytics

Posted by Harsha

Microsoft Adcenter
The Advertisers on MSN and Microsoft Windows Live can directly place their ads on Microsoft MSN AdCenter instead of going through Yahoos Overture pay per click service.

After the success of Google Analytics and Adwords integration, Microsoft also plans to so the same to help its clients analyze what people do on their websites.

Microsoft acquired DeepMatrix that develops LiveStats web statistics and network monitoring software. Microsoft will add this new web analytics applications in future version of adCenter.

We may also see integration of DeepMetrix in Microsoft Office Live products that let you create and manage your own website. Though basic Web site traffic reports are already built into Office Live, a sophisticated package like Deepmetrix LiveStats.Biz would make the service better and more attractive.
