Posted by Harsha

UK based mobile application developer ROK Group has launched the worlds first free mobile-to-mobile voice over internet protocol (VoIP) application.

VoIP over Mobile PhonesIt offers free software which connects compatible handsets wirelessly to broadband via a Bluetooth on a user handset and computer PC. It then uses the internet to forward the call rather than using a mobile network.

Initially it is compatible with several Bluetooth enabled Nokia handsets, it aims to add more than 100 mobile handsets by the end of this year. Java powered handsets and Windows compatible devices will be also be included in next 3months.
