INTRODUCTION
Soups are an essential part in western cookery. With changing taste and the Indian cooking becoming Global,
it is the right time for me to post some exotic and non exotic Indian soup recipes.
INGREDIENTS
METHOD OF PREPARATION
In a sauce pan combine tomatoes, coriander, cumin, pepper, garlic and water.
Cover and cook until soft. Then leave it to cool down.
Put in a blender, blend and sieve to a fine puree.
In a bowl, make a corn flour paste by adding little water and keep aside.
In a sauce pan add tomato puree,corn flour paste, sugar, butter, salt and bring it to boil.
If required add water, stirring continuously and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
Ladle the hot soup into individual soup bowls and garnish with bread croutons.
Serve it hot.
